A message from Warren MacDonald - best-selling author, professional keynote speaker, and first double above-knee amputee to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro!
Every step counts. With a passion for creating opportunity, and our love of nature, Power To Climb supports local programs for children, youth, and the environment. Every step counts, because it’s through each and every single one of them that we define this journey we call life.
The Power To Climb 2010 Mt. Kilimanjaro Expedition will support Power To Be Adventure Therapy with their goal to create the necessary awareness and raise funds to decrease waitlists and expand their programs across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
Born from the desire to enrich the lives of exceptional people, Power To Be was founded on the belief that young people, who live with disabilities, endure a threatening illness, or are considered “at-risk” are all deserving of a promising future. Since its inception, Power To Be has helped more than 3000 young participants overcome limitations by providing financial assistance, adapted equipment and trained staff and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.
